  1. Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the mustard seeds and cumin seeds or ground cumin.
  2. When the seeds are popping, add the lentils, broccoli, coconut milk, broth, garam masala, turmeric and salt.
  3. Bring to a low boil. Reduce the heat, cover with lid and simmer for about 10 mins.
  4. Uncover; add the chilli flakes and simmer for another 10-15 minutes until the lentils soften. Give it an occasional stir to make sure it doesn’t stick. Add more water if it’s drying out.
  5. Stir in the lemon juice and serve.
